Last night was a great show at Bordello.   The band were on point and they experimented with a new lighting element that truly added to the experience.  The absolute highlight came from the bands closing cover song, “Digging In The Dirt,” by Peter Gabriel.  Echoes de Luxe performing Digging In The Dirt…

New shows this weekend!!!!Queen Kwong at Mr. T’s Bowl this Saturday May 29th at 11pm  and Echoes de  Luxe at Bordello this Sunday May 30th at 9:30!  Tickets are $5 and there isn’t a better bargain to be had.

Pet directed by Rick Jacquet

French director Rick Jacquet has directed a video for Queen Kwong’s “Pet” in his native France.  The video was just finished last week.  It is artistic, voyeuristic and fun.

Echoes now have t-shirts!  The tees come in black, white, and red and in 2 different styles.  Pictures will be up on the website soon.  They are $10 plus shipping.

Two shows in the near future ….May 30th at Bordello and June 7th at Les Deux.  More details to folllow.

Citizen Smith Residency

Echoes de Luxe, Queen Kwong, and Grace & Manners will take part in “Night of Acoustic Magic” at Citizen Smith starting Wednesday March 3rd at 10pm and running through the month of March.  The shows are free to the public and each week will feature a changed up set by each artist so that no two shows will be exactly the same.  Echoes de Luxe just finished mixing there newest demos and will have those available for free to fans.  Queen Kwong and Grace & Manners will be selling their latest cd’s.  On the 24th, The Sequel, will take Queen Kwong’s place.  The Sequel features Matt Bair from Eve 6.  More information about the artists can be found on their respective pages.  We will be recording audio, so check back each week for that.

"Wall of Sound"

Echoes de Luxe are currently hard at work in their Downtown Los Angeles studio recording 8 new songs.  The band plans to release them as free downloads on their website as soon as they are complete.  These demos will show how the band’s sound has evolved since the release of their debut EP in March of ’09.

As an extra treat for their fans, the band is posting ‘skeleton’ versions of one the songs on their Tumblr blog, “Notre Monde:::Notre Son”.  As each member adds his parts, they will upload new mixes until it is complete.  So far drums, bass, and Richard’s guitar parts are tracked.  You can listen here:
